Meet Jenni
Jenni Farrow, a Kentucky native with a passion for art and photography, found herself in Greenville, North Carolina, after marrying her NC-born husband in 2003. Prior to motherhood, she enjoyed a successful career as an award-winning photojournalist. Embracing the joys of parenthood in 2010, Jenni's creative spirit remained alive. In 2016, she launched Jenni's Ugly Chocolates, crafting delightful treats from her home kitchen, even with her kids playfully underfoot. Initially selling at local markets, her dedication and unique approach gained recognition, earning her the prestigious Our State award in 2018. Unyielding in her pursuit of excellence, Jenni's ingenuity shone through again in 2022, winning the Graphic Design award for eco-friendly packaging with Bluebarn.
Her inspiring journey from photojournalist to accomplished chocolatier is a testament to her resilience, talent, and unwavering pursuit of passion. With her eye on a bright future, Jenni continues to share her delightful creations, leaving an indelible mark on the world of sweets.
